Whitney Hope's Camp Attitude is a REALITY!
July 26, 2002

On behalf of the Whitney Hope Foundation staff, board and the team of Camp Attitude, we want to invite you to come and visit Camp Attitude of Southern California. The camp will be held on August 4-10, 2002 at the beautiful Rancho del Rey Conference Center in Oak View. You MUST call our office by Friday, August 2nd to make arrangements to visit the camp.

Camp Attitude is designed exclusively for kids with disabilities and their families. The entire camp is wheelchair accessible so that every child can experience the wonder of nature and meet new friends in an atmosphere that will bring joy to their lives. Each camper's entire week expenses is being sponsored by generous individuals, churches or corporations. This will allow every person and family, no matter their financial situation to enjoy the camp experience.

We are totally excited for the week to come. Our team has been working very hard for the past few months in preparing this camp. Fifty seven disabled children and their parents will be attending the camp, plus 75 volunteers/staff who will be a buddy to each disabled child for the week.

Our camp theme this year "Catch the Joy" exemplifies the attitude of all who will be participating. Our experienced staff of volunteers are very excited to be able to share this experience with the campers and their families.

A side thought is . . . Our Camp is completely full . . and we have a waiting list of 34 people. Yes we are blessed by the response of our community for a camp that reaches out to disabled kids and their parents.

If you have any questions, please call Mark Zier at 805.658.1189. For more information on Camp Attitude or the Whitney Hope Foundation, visit our web site at www.whitneyhope.com.

We sincerely hope you will take this opportunity to "Catch the Joy" as YOU visit this unique experience we call Camp Attitude.
