Dear Family and Friends,

Saturday was an encouraging day! Progress has seemed slowly lately and we weren’t sure how much strength Dan was gaining until Darrell tested his muscles. He’s up to 42! Darrell was amazed at his progress!

Thank you for your prayers for strength and stamina! Dan’s legs are strong enough now to stand (with some support) so he’s able to help more with transfers between his bed and his wheelchair. Dan is also able to participate in various activities throughout the entire day and sometimes into the evening! He’s still working on the dizziness when he stands, but the therapist had said that when his halo and vest come off, the extra movement would help maintain his blood pressure.

Please pray for Dan’s appointment with the surgeon on Thursday, Feb. 22, that the surgeon will be able to determine if the halo can be removed early. We’ll update you after the appointment.

Please continue to pray for finances and a health care aide to come to the house and help Candi.
