Dear Family and friends,

Dan had a good day today! He was encouraged by his physical therapist who said he was surprised by Dan’s strength compared to Tuesday. He said he definitely felt something in his left hamstring. Praise the Lord!

The doctors also said they will put on a vest to hold his “halo” in place so he can get into a regular hospital bed and sit up. That was great news since they originally said he couldn’t do that until Tuesday, Dec. 26!

Please pray for continued strength and patience and that he can get the ventilator out by Christmas (so he can talk)!

Dan and Candi received an especially encouraging verse from someone that they want to share with everyone – Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
