Whitney Hope - Dan's Update

Friday’s Update:

Another exciting event!! The ventilator tube was removed permanently today! Dan compared this to having a redwood tree pulled from his throat! Candi said it was great to hear him talk and he was only a little hoarse! Dan was given an oxygen mask to wear for 24 hours, just to give him a little extra help.

Now that Dan can sit up and talk, he is going to see his girls on Saturday afternoon for the first time since the accident. He is VERY EXCITED (and so are Nicole and Dani)!!

Dan spent another 45 minutes in his wheelchair. He continues to grow stronger, but tires easily from breathing on his own. Thank you for your continued prayers and notes of encouragement!
